Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions will apply to anyone booking training or contacting Sunshine Health & Fitness through the website. Instructions by a client to commence personal training will constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions.

The client is asked to pay special attention to the provisions related to cancellations.

My Obligations

  • Sunshine H&F will use my skills and knowledge to design a programme of exercise that will take into account the client's personal goals, fitness levels and likes and dislikes related to exercise.

  • Sunshine H&F will provide the coaching, supervision, advice and support that the client may need to help them achieve their goals.

  • All client information will be kept strictly private and confidential. If we require further medical information from a practitioner, the client must provide such details.

The Client's Obligations

  • It is understood between client and trainer that both must commit to the programme in order to achieve results.

  • The client is required to arrive on time for each training session so that a full session can be achieved on each visit. The client is required to wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Footwear should be comfortable and provide adequate support.


1. Health Screening

  • All clients must complete a PAR-Q and medical questionnaire before commencing any exercise programme.

  • We may require a letter of 'medical clearance' from your GP. Please be aware that your GP may charge for providing this letter.

  • We cannot be held liable in any way for undeclared or unknown medical conditions.

2. Cancellation Policy:

  • 24 hours notice of cancellation is required for all appointments.

  • Notice of less that 24 hours will incur a full payment of the session fee.

  • For all running & triathlon courses, non-attendance of any session is at the cost of the client, and is non-refundable.

3. Lateness Policy:

  • If the client is late for a session the session cannot be extended and will end at the appointed time. If the client is more than 20 minutes late the session will be forfeited. For group sessions the session will start and end at the designated time and late arrivals are expected to join in as necessary.

  • If I am late additional time will be added to the session or to subsequent sessions.

4. Fee Charging Policy:

  • Payment for sessions must be made at the time of booking. Cheques should be made payable to Miss Alison Smith.

  • Block Bookings must be paid for in advance BUT sessions do not have to be booked in advance. All sessions must be redeemed within 90 days of purchase.

  • All sums paid are non-refundable, except in the case of a major problem with our service, when you may get a refund or a credit. Examples of major problems are 

    • The service has a problem that would have stopped you from buying it if you’d known about it

    • The service is substantially unfit for its common purpose and can’t easily be fixed within a reasonable time

    • The service does not meet the specific purpose you asked for and cannot easily be fixed within a reasonable time

    • The service creates an unsafe situation


Sunshine Health & Fitness may amend these terms and conditions from time to time, and place the new version on the website. All sessions, packages and purchases from Sunshine Health & Fitness from the date that the amended terms placed on the website onwards will be governed by those new terms.

These terms and conditions shall apply when you use Sunshine Health & Fitness website and services. They shall supersede any and all other conditions, understandings, commitments, agreements or representations (except fraudulent misrepresentations) whether oral or in writing. You are advised to read (and are responsible for reading) all information on this website fully.


Prices are listed on the website and may be annual increased.

In line with current guidelines we also operate a Covid-19 safety plan which can be reviewed upon request.
